September 19, 2016

Hi Buddyfighters!

As we get closer to the release of our Triple D Booster Pack Alternative Vol.2 (D-BT02A) “Four Dimensions” on September 23rd, we will start previewing cards from the D-EB03 portion of the set.

Step into the new worlds with D-BT02A “Four Dimensions”!

More specifically, today’s article will cover cards that can be used with the brand-new flag, Divine Guardians!

What is Divine Guardians?

Divine Guardians is a new flag which allows any card that bears the “Guardians” in its attribute to be used in the deck, alongside with <Generic> cards. Players using this deck will start their game with 12 Lives and one gauge.

The unique style when playing Divine Guardians is to benefit from having as little cards as possible in your Drop Zone, while gaining more Life as the game progresses. We will be featuring a few cards in this article which will give you a better picture of what is in store for you!

★ Enter the gates of the Divine Guardians! ★

Gate of Pardon –Forgiven–

Gate of Pardon –Forgiven–” is the core card of any Guardian Deck, a Spell which can synergize very well with the abilities of your 《Guardians》 units. Firstly, you can send up to 3 cards in the Drop Zone to the bottom of your deck to gain a life. If you don’t have any monsters on the field, nor any cards in your Drop Zone, “Gate of Pardon –Forgiven–” allows you to call for a 《Guardians》 monster of your choice to the field when you return a card from your hand to the bottom of your deck. With this card, you can effectively recycle your used cards and ensure the resolution of your 《Guardians》 abilities!

Cards Synergizing with Gate of Pardon –Forgiven–

With the help of “Sparkling Envoy, Kirarian” and “Melody Angel, Sword Flute Dragon“, you can call “Gate of Pardon –Forgiven–” to your hand sooner! They both have the ability to search your Deck for it and add it to your hand. “Swoop Envoy, Angelus” is another card that works with “Gate of Pardon, Forgiven”, giving you an additional draw when it appears on the field.

★ Behold! The enduring strength of the Guardians! ★

Justice Envoy, Angel Frill

Justice Envoy, Angel Frill” helps to deal with problematic cards that have [Soulguard], as it can remove the soul from an opponent’s card whenever another 《Guardians》card appears on the field. On top of that, you regain 1 life whenever Angel Frill attacks, if there are 5 or less card in your Drop Zone.

Sky Pillar Armor, Doreamarti

Sky Pillar Armor, Doreamarti” allows you to gain one additional gauge by returning 1 card from your Drop Zone to the bottom of your deck. By having fewer cards in the Drop Zone, you will also earn a higher chance of enabling the abilities of 《Guardians》 cards. If you have no cards in your Drop Zone– which can be easily fulfilled if you have cards like “Gate of Pardon –Forgiven–“–“Sky Pillar Armor, Doreamarti” gets an additional critical!

Perpetual Envoy, Elixiel

Perpetual Envoy, Elixiel” is one neat card to have in any 《Guardians》deck. It helps to provide more offense for cards that you have, which is useful as 《Guardians》cards are generally low in power. As long as it is on the field, it gives all your cards an additional power of 2000 and if you have 2 or less cards in your Drop Zone, all cards on the field get an additional critical.

Its [Move] and [Soulguard] abilities ensure that this card can survive longer on the field to provide your other cards with much needed offensive support!

Avalon, Benedict Ray

Here comes the impact monster of the Divine Guardians! A great card, as it not only possesses the ability to return your opponent’s cards back to his or her hand, it may also deal extra damage depending on the number of the returned cards! Essentially, this card helps to clear the threat on the field, before going for the kill! It also allows you to setup for your subsequent turns as it returns cards from your Drop Zone back to your deck.

This concludes today’s showcase of these 《Guardians》 cards from D-BT02A “Four Dimensions”! Tune in to the next article, as we will venture into the last unexplored dimension of this set!
