Q. Can I use this card's ability to nullify a buddy call?
A. Yes, you can. If a buddy call is nullified, life cannot be recovered with buddy gift, and the card in the buddy zone will be put to rest position.
Q. During a link attack, one of the attacking monsters is returned back to hand. After that, can I cast this card to nullify the remaining monster's attack?
A. Yes, you can. Since one of the monsters in the link attack is returned to hand, that attack ceases to be a link attack. However, if a spell cast returns the monster to hand, as you can only use or cast a counter once per battle, this card cannot be cast.
