A. The call cost should be paid first. After that, following the rules resolution, the size of monsters on the field is over the limit, so choose a size 1 monster previously on the field and send it to the drop zone.

A. No, you cannot call this monster as the call cost has not been fulfilled. As the timing to pay from the gauge and putting one card into the soul must be done at the same time, it is not possible to pay the gauge, and use the card just put into the drop zone to put into the soul.
