Q. I have this card on my field, and Valkyrie, All-knowing Alwidol in my hand. With this as the only card in my hand, my opponent calls 2 monsters into play. Can I activate [Gravity Rest] once, pay 1 gauge, and discard "Valkyrie, All-knowing Alwidol" as part of the cost in order to [Rest] one of the 2 monsters, then, due to "Valkyrie, All-knowing Alwidol"'s ability, charge with the top card of my deck, draw a card, and then use that newly drawn card as part of the cost to activate [Gravity Rest] against the other monster?
A. Yes, that is allowed. Since your opponent calls into play 2 monsters, [Gravity Rest] is triggered twice. When the first [Gravity Rest] resolves, the effect of "Valkyrie, All-knowing Alwidol" is triggered as a result. When a fighter has multiple effects waiting to be resolved, the fighter himself can decide the order they resolve. In this case, the effect of "Valkyrie, All-knowing Alwidol" resolves first, thus, allowing you to draw a card to activate the second [Gravity Rest].

A. No, you may not. In this case, because 3 monsters comes into play, [Gravity Rest] is triggered 3 times. You will need to activate [Gravity Rest] for each of the three monsters.
Q1222 (8/3/16)

[D-BT02A-SS02/0001EN:Hollowed Arms, Zodiac]

Q. My opponent calls "Black Demon Swordsman, Vader" during his turn, with this card in my batlefield. With "Black Demon Swordsman, Vader"'s ability, he calls "Black Death Dragon, Abygale" into the field. At this point, am I allowed to [Rest] "Black Demon Swordsman, Vader"?
A. Yes, you can. When "Black Demon Swordsman, Vader" comes into play, it triggers both its own ability and [Gravity Rest], and both abilities are waiting to be acted upon. Being the turn fighter, "Black Demon Swordsman, Vader"'s ability resolves first, and "Black Death Dragon, Abygale" comes into play, triggers [Gravity Rest] again, and is waiting to resolve. Then, the [Gravity Rest] against "Black Demon Swordsman, Vader" and "Black Death Dragon, Abygale" resolves individually.

[D-BT02A-SS02/0001EN:Hollowed Arms, Zodiac]

Q. This card is on my battlefield when my opponent calls a Monster A, and I did not use [Gravity Rest]. Then, my opponent calls a Monster B. Am I allowed to [Rest] Monster A?
A. No, you may not. [Gravity Rest] can only rest a monster that just comes into play. When Monster A comes into play, triggers the ability [Gravity Rest], and you did not pay 1 gauge and discard a card, you may not [Rest] Monster A after it resolves.
